Our Run Club program begins Wednesday, Sept 6! This program is free to join, requires no sign up and meets daily. Students can be dropped off on the Melbourne Dr. side of campus for some morning run fun! Run Club is run by parent volunteers and help is always welcome. Laps are recorded and reported monthly, and prizes are awarded at the end of the year!

Join Juarez Elementary for a SDUSD Cafeteria/Food Services event, Cali Q where families are invited to join their student for lunch and recess. Families can purchase a meal and can share lunch in the playground area. After lunch, families are invited to enjoy recess with their student. The Cali Q will include grilled hamburgers or hot dogs, a salad bar, and a frozen treat. Students eat free, adults and non students are $5.00. Water and cookies will also be available for sale. Juarez families are invited to a collaborative event between Taft Middle School & Juarez Elementary on Friday, Nov. 3 as we celebrate Dia de los Muertos and those we love who have gone before us. This event will be held at Taft Middle School.
Join us for a student exposition to learn about this popular Hispanic holiday and participate in crafts and games. Food, snacks, and drinks will be available for sale. 100% of food sales benefit Taft PTO & Juarez PTO, helping to fund the numerous events we hold for our students and families.

The Holiday Shop is 100% funded and run by Juarez PTO so all purchases go right back into the school! Every year this event brings out a lot of excitement with our kids and lots of help is needed!

All students are invited to participate in our largest fundraiser of the Spring semester, our Bulldog Fun Run. Last year we raised over $13K and this year our goal is $15K!
Students will run as many laps as able during their 30-minute time slots. Students are encouraged to wear Juarez spirit shirts, hats or anything green to get into the spirit! PTO will sponsor healthy snacks for students to enjoy post run. Families are invited to cheer on students, dress in fun costumes, and make signs!

All students are invited to participate in our largest fundraiser of the Spring semester, our Bulldog Fun Run. Last year we raised over $13K and this year our goal is $15K! Kids are invited to run laps and raise donor dollars for prizes.
Fundraising will take place 100% online through 99Pledges. Donations will be accepted between February 20- March 6. Watch for an email from 99Pledges to activate you student's profile or find and donate to your child on the Juarez Fun Run event page, here:

Our Juarez Elementary yearbook is something our students and families look forward to receiving every year! Help us fill our yearbook with photos by submitting pictures of your student and/or family at any in-school activity, after school event or family meal or fun day! Photos of class specific events are especially needed (ex. wax museums or classroom parties and celebrations)!
Submit all good quality pictures to juarezelementarypto@gmail.com. All photos must be sent as "Actual Size" images to be considered for the yearbook.
PTO cannot use all submitted photos. Photos will be selected by need, quality and what best fits yearbook page layouts. Images should include only Juarez students and families, please do not submit photos from non-school or non-PTO sponsored events.

Our book is proudly put together by PTO parent volunteers with a cover designed by one of our talented 5th graders. A portion of every yearbook sale comes directly back to Juarez PTO. Only 120 copies are reserved. Order online at Jostens School Annual today or complete the form and submit to the office with cash or check payment.
Checks are made payable to "Juarez Elementary PTO". Yearbooks will be delivered to campus and will be distributed by late May. Name plates or other add-ons will be shipped home.

Our Benito Juarez Day Celebration is almost here, and PTO will be offering ticket presales for families to lessen lines at the event! Presales will happen Wednesday April 10, Friday April 12, & Monday April 15 on the Lawn before and after school. Tickets will also be available before the event starts on Wednesday April 17.
Tickets are $.50 each with games, food, and drinks costing between 2-20 tickets.

Our annual art fundraiser is here, and students have created beautiful pieces of one-of-a-kind art! Families can purchase their student's art in the form of keepsakes. Keepsakes include office supplies and stationery, mugs, canvases, household goods plus over 60+ other customized items featuring your little one's art. Items are great for Mother's or Father's Day, birthdays, gifts for the holidays or any occasion! Plus 33% of your purchase comes back to Juarez PTO benefiting our students and staff.

Join Juarez PTO for a family picnic to celebrate another successful school year! Families are welcome to join their student on the field for a food, snacks, and drinks sponsored by PTO. Canopies, chairs, and blankets are encouraged for seating. Families must check into the office prior to coming on campus. Water balloons and water toys will be provided by PTO. Please wear clothing and shoes appropriate for water play.
Students may also pick up preordered yearbooks at the event. All yearbooks not picked up at this event will be distributed to classrooms during scheduled drop off times based on volunteer availability.

Start your Summer off right with one final fundraiser! Join PTO for our Jump for Jor Family Night at Inflatable World Mission Valley (1640 Camino Del Rio N. 92108) on Wednesday, June 5 from 4-7PM. Unlimited jump wristbands are only $20.00 and 25% comes back to Juarez PTO.
