Juarez PTO hosts and sponsors dozens of in-school activities and after school events throughout the year. Our events are only successful with the support of our parents, and we encourage all families to volunteer and help in any way possible. No matter your work schedule or experience level, PTO has a volunteer opportunity for you!

If you'd like to volunteer on campus:

📝Complete volunteer packet (you can get one from the front office)

📸Present a copy of photo identification card (Every school year)

✔️TB clearance (good for 4 yrs.)(Our nurse can do an assessment but only by apt. on Fridays*)

Sage Cooking and Gardening in Class

Volunteers are needed to:

Help in the Kitchen Preparing and Cooking with the Students
Help in the Garden, Planting and Watering with the Students
Dates are subject to change due to teachers scheduling, please contact Mr. Villar to confirm.

Fun Run

Mar 18 | Field

Volunteers are needed to:

Set up & breakdown event
Pass out Snacks and Water
Mark lap cards for event trotters
Scan runner cards
Dress in inflatables or wear fun costumes to cheer for kids
Dress up as Benni
Photograph event

Treat the Teacher

Mar23-Mar27 | Office

Volunteers are needed to:

Donate coffee, breakfasts, lunches, and snacks for Juarez teachers & classroom support staff
Donate Money
Donate Time to pickup and deliver

Benito Juarez Carnival

Apr 16 | Blacktop

Volunteers are needed to:

Set up & breakdown event
Table & canopy donations (for the day of event)
Present a cultural or country booth with art, clothing, or other items to showcase
Manning of games, ticket/raffle table, and snack tables
Event MC (Bilingual ONLY)
Dress up as Benni

Student Play Aladdin Jr

May 20 & 21 | Multipurpose Room

Volunteers are needed to:

Set up & breakdown event
Manning concession and admission tables
Help kids prepare for play
Video event

Summer Send Off Family Picnic

May 22 | Field

Set up & breakdown event
Manning yearbook distribution table, food tables, and games
Dress up as Benni

Run Club

DAILY 8:30AM-8:50AM | Field

Volunteers are needed to:

Coordinate the program
Supervise the run before school
Alternates to jump in when needed

Sage Gardening Committee

Juarez Garden

Volunteers are needed to:

Help in the Garden with the Students
Garden Jobs:
Filling the new planters with soil
Painting garden benches and signs
Weeding, planting, and general garden maintenance
Donations: soil, gravel, seeds, tools, donations to the Sage Program (Venmo PTO “SAGE”)

PTO Class Liaison

All Year

Volunteers are needed to:

Help support your child’s class by ensuring there are parent volunteers for classroom activities and events throughout the year
Act as the class contact between the parents, and the PTO
Check in on ClassDojo and help organize parents to volunteer for classroom activities or special events
You don’t need to attend every activity or be available all the time—just help connect and coordinate volunteers when needed
